The Vincent Chin case truly showed me how voices have been silenced and continue to be silenced in this country. I am a senior in college and today in class was the first time I have heard of this story. I am studying to be an elementary school teacher and learning about this case really got me thinking about how I will teach young students about silenced voices.

Vincent Chin 35th Anniversary Remembrance in Michigan will be held Saturday June 24, 2017, at the Chinese Cultural Center in Madison Heights, organized by American Citizens for Justice.
